Instructions
  1. Start by adding your Truck and Crew to the Truck/Crew tab above.
  2. Then click “Set / Update”. This will set your Truck and Crew dropdowns for all narrative types.
    • You only need to add Crew names that you need in your narratives. Blank fields are OK.
    • A ✓ in the top menu bar will indicate fields are populated.
    • For ease of use, this system will hold the values you enter in your browser for 24 hrs. After which they will be deleted.
    • You can change the truck or crew at any time by making the appropriate changes and then clicking “Set / Update” again.
    • If you need more than 4 Crew members. Remove any crew's name and add another name. Both will be added to the Crew DropDown.
    • Clicking "Clear All" will clear all fields and will not keep the 24h history.
  3. Next from the drop-down menus select the type of narrative you need to complete.
  4. Click “INCLUDE” beside each sentence to add it to your narrative.
    • Clicking “INCLUDE” again will remove the sentence.
  5. In each sentence change the dropdowns/fields to appropriate values.
  6. Click “COPY”.
  7. Then go back to FireRMS and "PASTE" the narrative into your narrative box under your name and date.
    • To Paste using your Keyboard use → CTRL+V
    • OR to Paste using your Mouse → Right Click → select Paste

  • *** This system is intended to be a basic framework for your Narrative.
  • *** You are encouraged to change/add/remove any part provided here into your own words.
  • This system will not save your generated narrative. Once your browser is closed it will reset all generated narratives.
  • This system will not send your generated narrative anywhere. It does not leave your browser session on this computer.
  • Generated narratives are not shared between users on the same computer.
  • This system will only create pre-made sentences. Paste the output of this system into FireRMS and make your own changes there.
  • If TRUCK is in an output sentence you did not add your Truck to the Truck/Crew tab above and click “Set / Update”.
  • If the Crew drop down is not working you did not add your Crew to the Truck/Crew tab above and click “Set / Update”.
  • If XXXXX is in an output sentence you did not make a selection.
  • This system only supports Chrome, Firefox or Edge browsers. Not the Internet Explorer browser.
